RONDA: Dream city, emblematic place in which alleys, stones, nature, aromas, are immersed in the most noble romanticism. Is the most important urban center of the Serrania de Ronda. Seated in a deep Tajo, whose Bridge, symbol par excellence of its landscape, under which flows the river Guadalevín, divided into two parts a city that breathes elegance, peace and harmony.
Cradle of bullfighting, in whose coso Francisco Romero, in the eighteenth century, perfected this art and whose grandson, Pedro Romero, created the “style rondeño”. Being one of the oldest cities in Spain, there are many monuments and spaces attractions that have left behind their centuries of history. Its impressive bullring, the arab baths, palaces, Casas Consistoriales, churches, numerous museums, as well as some natural landscapes that surround all the Mountainous area of Ronda.
As well as being remarkable the importance and renown that are taking the numerous wineries in our city, processing of red wines of the highest quality and that are generating an emerging wine tourism that further expands the possibilities for tourism in our city.
RONDA (Departure available from Málaga, Sevilla, Córdoba or Granada) During the journey the tour escort will inform you about the programme of the day and will comment upon the landscapes and the towns you will see on the way. Upon the arrival in Ronda you will make an extensive Visit of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes with a Local Guide who will walk you along the paved streets of the Historical City Centre.
You will see among others the magnificent Tajo of Ronda, a deep gorge that seems to be a whim of nature, and the New Bridge that connects the two parts of the city. During the tour you will visit the famous Bullring of Ronda, the oldest one in Spain, and its Bullfighting Museum (entrance included). Later the guide will take you to a famous Winery set in one of the oldest houses of Ronda where you will have a visit with Wine Tasting included. After the tasting you have the possibility to stay in the winery’s patio and taste some more wine that pours directly from a fountain. Afterwards you will have at least 3 hours free time (lunch time included) to enjoy this marvellous city on your own, do your shopping, etc.
At the time set by our guide, you will go back to the Costa del Sol to continue the visit in the localities of Puerto Banús and Marbella. At the end of the visit, you will go back to the departing point following the coastline..
